1^st Interclub – 16^th August, 2020

Diving NSW is looking forward to you coming along to our 1^st Interclub and slowly get back into competing. It will be a different format to what you have been used to.

We understand that you haven’t been in the water training very long so we have decided to run a modified event.

Guidelines:

• Choose one board to compete (1M, 3M, or Platform)
• If you don’t have your full list yet you can do a jump or repeat a dive without penalty (you won’t be able to qualify)
• Elite Juniors can do their first list only
• You can choose to do your full list and try and qualify if you wish

Due to COVID – 19 restrictions we will stagger the events so where possible we don’t have everyone at the pool at the same time.

Therefore, we have approximate times for warm up and competition for each event. Some events will be combined age groups.

Below in the program you will see which events are combined and a time line.

• Please limit spectators to one parent/guardian per child entering the pool.
• Please note that change rooms will not be available so please shower before coming to the event.
• Social distancing 1.5 M will apply for everyone including volunteers, table officials, judges
• Do not share clothing, drink bottles, food etc with anyone and remember your safe hygiene practises.
• Please exclude yourself from participating if you don’t feel well.

Diving NSW will be complying with all COVID – 19 safety measures, including following the current public health orders.

Club members must not attend training or competitions, if they have visited Victoria in the past 14 days.

Club members must not attend training or competitions, if they have attended a reported case location.

There will be no general warm up. Each event will be given approximately 30 minutes training prior to the event starting as a warm up as follows: 

9.00 - 9.50 Warm Up - Events 1, 2 & 3

10.00am Competition Start - Events 1, 2 & 3

10.30 - 11.00 Warm Up - Event 4

11.00am Competition Start - Event 4

11.30 - 12.00 Warm Up - Events 5, 6 & 7

12.00pm Competition Start - Events 5, 6 & 7

1.00 - 1.30 Warm Up - Events 8 & 9

1.30pm Competition Start - Event 8 & 9
